Floriana continue winning

This is Floriana's third successive victory as for Tarxien it is their third defeat in as many games.

The first half saw Floriana miss many scoring opportunities while Tarxien started to gain confidence as the match went on.

Floriana managed to score six minutes into the second half when a cross by John Mintoff was received by Andre Grabowski who then went on to beat goalkeeper David Cassar with his shot.

Tarxien started to increase the pressure on Floriana to try to find the equaliser, but Floriana managed to hold on to their one goal lead and take all three point.

Floriana remain third in the BOV Premier League standings on a comfortable 26 points, six more than fourth place Birkirkara while Tarxien Rainbows remain in 11^th place, just three points more than Mosta.

Andre Grabowski was Voted BOV Player of the Match.
