Tarxien Rainbows back to winning ways

Tarxien Rainbows are back to winning ways after they defeated Qormi 2-0 yesterday afternoon.

It was a different story for Qormi as it was their fourth defeat in their last five matches.

Tarxien immediately started the match on the attack as on the ninth minute Karl Pulo hit the crossbar with his shot from the edge of the area.

Tarxien managed to take the lead on the 70th minute. Caio Garcia Suguino served Ricardo Costa with the latter dribbling past goalkeeper Matthew Farrugia to place the ball at the back of the net.

Tarxien did not take long to double their lead when just four minutes later when Cai Garcia's cross was intercepted by Adrian Carabott who then headed the ball in past Matthew Farrugia.

Cai Garcia Suguino was voted BOV Player of the Match.
