Five-star Inter flatten Parma

Diego Milito looked to be back to his best form after he scored two goals of five in a 5-0 victory over Parma yesterday evening.

This was Inter’s fifth straight victory under coach Caludio Ranieri.

Goals courtesy of Diego Milito's first-half brace and further goals from Thiago Motta, Giampaolo Pazzini and substitute Marco Faraoni.

Since the arrival of Claudio Ranieri at Inter, the side has managed to brush aside their previous dismal form and play matches full of confidence.

When asked about any scudetto ambitions, Ranieri quickly replied that the team are only thinking about their next match.

This boost in confidence for Inter arrived at the best possible time as next Sunday Inter take on city rivals Milan.

In the previous match Scudetto-chasing Lazio were given a rude welcome to 2012 when their 10-man side crashed to a 4-0 defeat to Siena at the Artemio Franchi – Montepaschi Arena.

Two goals arrived from Mattia Destro and another two thanks to penalties taken by Emanuele Calaio.
