FA Trophy: Qormi shoot down Mellieha

Qormi were in front just two minutes into the match when they were awarded a penalty after Caio Garcia Suguino was brought down inside the area by Matthew Vella. Joseph Farrugia made no mistake from the penalty spot to give Qormi the lead.

Jorge Pereira da Silva made it 2-0 for Qormi on the 11^th minute after a mistake by goalkeeper James Abela enabled da Silva to find the back of the net with his shot.

Just four minutes later Jorge Pereira da Silva scored another goal to make it 3-0. Off a cross by Matthew Bartolo, Jorge Pereira da Silva headed the ball in past goalkeeper James Abela.

On the 60^th minute, off a free kick by Joseph Farrugia an unmarked Caio Garcia Suguino had no problem increasing his teams lead after he beat the goalkeeper with his shot.

On the 69^th minute Jorge Pereira da Silva completed a hat-trick and scored the fifth and final goal for Qormi thanks to his powerful shot from inside the area.
