Moratti looks to foreign investors for Inter
Inter’s president Massimo Moratti likes what he sees at Manchester City.
Inter's president Massimo Moratti is willing to open up to foreign investors for Inter.
According to reports from Italy, Massimo Moratti could be working with Arab investors with Inter.
Inter's president would like a similar deal as Manchester City has his Etihad.
If a deal is made with a foreign company, the management of Inter will still be in the hands of the Moratti family.
As this is a sign that Moratti wants to keep Inter at the highest levels, it fuels suggestions that Inter are going through a financial crisis at the moment.
This season has already seen some of Inter's main stars leave the club, such as Eto'o and Motta.
Wesley Sneijder, one of Inter's highest paid players could also be on his way out at the end of the season. Sneijder had numerous offers from a number of high profile clubs, but his wage demands have been a sticking point.
Inter winning the treble and numerous titles in the last five years have made the fans and the Moratti family very happy, but the financial repercussions are starting to show.
Inter's transfer campaign in the last two seasons have been very slow. This has had a great effect on the team as rivals AC Milan and Juventus have improved in the meantime.
This season, Inter's main target is to finish in the top three to secure a lucrative Champions League spot for next season. At the moment, Inter sit in fifth place in the Serie A standings, six points away from third place.
If Inter do not qualify for next season Champions League, it will cost the team millions and hamper their plans for the next season.
