Andre Villas-Boas being fired will cost Chelsea millions
Andre Villas-Boas can easily relax at home until June 2014, knowing he will be making €107,000 per week.
Villas-Boas who was sacked by Chelsea last Sunday after their 1-0 defeat to West Brom can take his time in finding a new coaching job.
The three year 'project', that Villas-Boas liked to call it only lasted 257 days.
From 40 matches with Chelsea, Villas-Boas only managed to win 19, leaving owner Roman Abramovich no other choice than to fire him.
Villas-Boas' 40 game stint with Chelsea, cost the team approximately €16,000 per minute in wages to the coach.
The 34 year old coach has to be paid his full wage until June 2014 which amounts to approximately €12.3million. The only way Chelsea can be relieved from this expense is if Villas-Boas finds another coaching job.
Reports from Italy suggest, Villas-Boas could be the next coach for Inter. This could happen before the end of the season as current Inter coach Claudio Ranieri is struggling at the moment in trying to get the team to get some positive results.
