8th edition of the 5-a-side football Summer Tournament 2010

 This event is being put up by the Super 16 Committee which through the years has been responsible for the successful organisation of various football competitions including two editions of the Band Club Challenge and street 3-a-side competitions, events which for months enjoyed great support and detailed follow-ups in local newspapers.

The Summer Tournament 2010, World Cup Edition, promises to be equally successful. In the past years it underwent constant progress until recently it enjoyed the participation of around 300 players in 30 teams, some of which included Futsal and other players from local top clubs.

This year's edition will witness four weeks of great football with participant teams competing for a cash price of €500. The tournament will kick off on July 1st at St. Benedict's Primary pitch Kirkop, one of Malta's top facilities in line with the event's reputation.
