Derby victory for Valletta

In the second half, Valletta continued to protect their two-goal lead.

Floriana came close to reducing the score when on the 78^th minute when Pablo Doffo's freekick went just wide.

Floriana lost another opportunity to score on the 85^th minute, when Ivan Woods missed the target from close range after picking up a rebound from a partially saved freekick by Pablo Doffo.
