Milan grow impatient with Allegri deal

Italian media reports that Galliani has already got in touch with Leonardo to see if the Brazilian would be prepared to return.

Milan are growing impatient with Cagliari President Massimo Cellino's intransigence over Max Allegri.

Milan have made Allegri their No 1 choice to replace Leonardo who left by mutual consent at the end of last season.

Allegri is still under contract at Cagliari despite being sacked for growing 'distracted' in April.

Mediaset understands Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani was supposed to have a meeting with Cellino, but the latter has yet to return from Miami and has given no indication as to when he will return.

Galliani is apparently so frustrated that he is prepared to break off all negotiations with Cellino and abandon Allegri.

Milan's fans are equally annoyed, partly because they can't believe a club of Milan's stature can't get the Coach they so dearly want.

Mediaset claims that Galliani has already got in touch with Leonardo to see if the Brazilian would be prepared to return.

The rescission of his contract has yet to be presented to the League, leaving the door open for a dramatic return.
