Tarxien defeat Hamrun to secure Premier League status

The match started with both teams having very few chances on goal.

With the first half ending goalless, Tarxien did not waste any time in the second half as they took the lead just three minutes after the restart.

Daniel Mariano Bueno served Jimmy Nzinga Mayasi whose shot beat goalkeeper Andrea Cassar.

On the 88^th minute, Tarxien made sure they took all three points home when they scored their second goal of the match. Mark Tanti served Adrian Carabott to have the latter score from close range.

Two minutes later on the 90^th minute, Adrian Carabott scored his second goal of the match to make the final score 3-0 and secure his teams place in the Premier League for next season.

Jimmy Nzinga Mayasi was voted BOV Player of the Match.
