Birkirkara defeat Balzan
Birkirkara registered their second win of the season after they defeated Balzan Youths 2-1.
Birkirkara were the team to start off the match on the attack, with numerous chances right from the start.
Birkirkara did not have to wait long before they were in front as on the 9th minute Harun Shola Shodiya beat goalkeeper Matthew Camilleri with his shot from close range.
Birkirkara doubled the score on the 39th minute when Rowen Muscat flicked the ball past Matthew Camilleri.
Balzan had to wait till the 89th minute before they would register a goal. Off a cross by Pedro Calcado, Malcolm Licari headed the ball past goalkeeper Reuben Gauci to make the final score 2-1.
