Hibernians continue fine form

Hibernians continued their positive run after the defeated Melita 3-1 yesterday evening.

This was Hibernians third victory in as many games while Melita suffered their second defeat .

Hibernians were quick to take the lead as eight minutes into the match Andrew Cohen beat goalkeeper Karl Zahra with his shot.

Hibernians were already showing that they were the dominant side and they doubled their lead on the 15th minute. Andrew Cohen served Jackson Lima who then went on to beat goalkeeper Karl Zahra with his attempt.

Melita's Jose Luis Armaro Negrin tried his luck on goal, but goalkeeper Mario Muscat left him no chance.

Hibernians practically sealed their victory on the 29th minute. Jackson Lima beat Karl Zahra with his shot to make the score 3-0.

Melita had to wait till the 52nd before they managed to reduce the deficit. Julian Galea managed to beat goalkeeper Mario Muscat with his shot to make the final score 3-1.

Ryan Camilleri was voted BOV Player of the Match.
