Valletta thrash Hamrun as Tarxien defeat Melita

This is Valletta’s fifth victory in as many games as they continue to defend their BOV Premier League title.

Michael Mifsud put Valletta in the lead as early as the fourth minute.

On the seventh minute, Ryan Fenech doubled the lead for Valletta as he found the back of the net with his shot.

It was 3-0 for Valletta as Michael Mifsud scored from the penalty spot when Curmi brought Leandro down inside the area.

Michael Mifsud continued to be a nightmare for Hamrun as he scored another two goals immediately.

On the 16^th minute mark, Valletta were already winning 5-0 to practically secure all three points.

Denni managed to score on the 25^th minute to make it 6-0 after he picked up a rebound from a shot by Willam Barbosa.

Hamrun finally managed to find the back of the net on the 33^rd minute when Daniel Zerafa scored from close range.

Valletta did not hold back in the second half as they notched in another goal just six minutes after the restart. Michael Mifsud registered his fifth goal of the match after he scored from close range.

Mifsud capped of a already perfect evening when he scores his sixth goal on the 73^rd minute from close range.

Hamrun scored another near the end of the match to make the final score 8-2.

Michael Mifsud was voted BOV Player of the Match.

In the other match Tarxien Rainbows earned a 2-0 victory over Melita.

As both teams played a good match it was Tarxien who managed to take all three points.

Brazillian Evaldo scored the first goal by a perfect header off a corner by Fenech and the second arrived on the 60^th minute when Andre Reinaldo scored.
