Mourinho upset with Florentino Perez statements

Jose Mourinho thinks Florentino Perez should worry about other things and 'stop making ridiculous declarations'

While in Jordan, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez was busy declaring that Real Madrid would win many trophies next season. According to donbolon.com, Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho said Perez "should worry about generating revenue and other matters and leave the management of the team" in his (Mourinho's) hands.

Mourinho is upset with these declarations. He has said from the first day in charge that he would need at least one year to build the team. These declarations put unwanted pressure on the coach and players.

Mourinho also stated that the team had barely moved in the transfer market, and if the president wants to see trophies he and Jorge Valdano must work hard to get new players in the team.

Mourinho might start to realise what he left behind at Inter, a great team at his disposal, a president that backed him up in every situation and finally a chance to continue building on a fantastic project. But he wanted to leave and he got his wish. But that does not mean it will be the same: Real Madrid is a team that wants instant success and have no patience with players or coaches, even if they have one of the best coaches in the world.
