Balzan fight back to beat Hamrun
Balzan fought back from two goals down to defeat Hamrun Spartans 3-2 thanks to a 90th minute goal by Malcolm Licari.

Balzan came close to scoring the equaliser just two minutes later when Pedro Calcado was denied by the woodwork.

The beginning of the second half did not start out as planned for Hamrun as just after two minutes, Balzan were awarded a penalty. Roderick Fenech brought Renato Conceicao down inside the area to have the referee point to the penalty spot.
Pedro Calcado beat goalkeeper Andrea Cassar from the spot to make the score 2-2.
Balzan were denied again by the woodwork on the 75th minute when Elton Alexandre da Silva shot from close range.
