Deco set for Brazil move

Chelsea midfielder Deco has agreed to join Brazilian side Fluminense – as soon as the Premier League champions let him leave according to the Daily Star

The attacking midfielder, 32, has played his last game for Portugal after retiring from international football when they were dumped out of the World Cup.

Now he is considering his club future and wants Chelsea to cancel the year remaining on his contract and let him return to the country of his birth on a free transfer.

Deco said: “If Chelsea let me go, I have given Fluminense my word – although I have not signed any pre-contract.

“If I finish my time in London, then I will go to play in Brazil.”  - Deco told the Daily Star
