Qormi - Mosta 2-1

Tarxien Rainbows recorded an important victory to secure a place in the Championship Pool after they defeated Melita 3-0.

Daniel Mariano Bueno scored two goals on the 24th and 31st minute while Leandro da Silva Almeida put the match out of reach for Tarxien with a goal on the 78th minute.

In the other match, Qormi defeated Mosta to keep their hopes alive to possibly secure a place in the Championship Pool.

Qormi took the lead thanks to Abubakar Bello-Osagie on the 54th minute. On the 63rd minute, Alfred Effiong doubled the score for Qormi when he beat the Mosta goalkeeper with his shot.

In added time, Mosta managed to score a consolation goal thanks to David Maia dos Santos.
