Tarxien shock Valletta as Floriana defeat Rabat

Valletta managed to take the lead three minutes into the match thanks to a goal by Denni Rocha dos Santos.

Tarxien managed to score the equaliser on the 24^th minute when Andre Souza Esposito's powerful shot beat Valletta goalkeeper Manuel Bartolo.

Valletta managed to regain the lead on the 31^st minute. Ryan Fenech left no chance for the Tarxien goalkeeper to score from close range.

Tarxien managed get back into the match on the 47^th minute when off a cross by Carlo Mamo, Daniel Mariano Bueno headed the ball past goalkeeper Manuel Bartolo.

Tarxein managed to score the winning goal on the 79^th minute  when Leandro da Silva Almedia beat Bartolo with his shot.

Daniel Mariano Bueno was voted BOV Player of the Match.

In the other match Floriana defeated Rabat Ajax 2-1.

Rabat managed to take the lead on the 22^nd minute when off a cross by Diego Carrillo Pendes, David Azzopardi headed the ball in goal past goalkeeper Tony Warner.

Floriana Scored the equaliser on the 53^rd minute when off a cross by Mark Spiteri, Igor Coronado's shot left no chance for the Rabat goalkeeper.

Floriana managed to score the winning goal on the 63^rd minute. After receiving a cross by Steve Pisani, the unmarked Igor Coronado easily tapped the ball in goal past the Rabat goalkeeper.

Igor was voted BOV Player of the Match.
