Chelsea defender Carvalho in Milan as Inter switch is on the horizon

Carvalho, 32, has enjoyed a very successful six year spell at Stamford Bridge but could now be set for the exit door. 

According to Corriere della Sera, the ex-Porto stopper is seeking a new challenge and could yet become head coach Rafael Benitez's first signing.

Despite on-going fitness problems, Carvalho is still considered one of the finest centre backs in Europe and would come in as a replacement for veteran Marco Materazzi.
