Under 17 Youth Tournament
The Malta Under-17 national team will be engaged in a quadrangular tournament between Thursday 28th March and Monday 1st April with the six matches to be played in different venues in Malta and Gozo.
The event will coincide with the Easter period. Besides Malta the other countries taking part are Northern Ireland, Greece and Cyprus.
The event is part of the programme of preparation of our youth team which will be participating in the forthcoming Euro Championship of the category. The build-up is necessary so that as many players as possible are assessed within a bigger scale of international opposition.
Malta will be facing Northern Ireland at the Gozo Stadium on the opening day. Two days later they will play Greece at the Centenary Stadium followed by their last match against Cyprus at the National Stadium on 1st April.
