Inter legend Zanetti to visit Malta
Zanetti runs a charitable foundation known as ‘PUPI’ for disadvantaged children in Argentina. It is thought the events in Malta will contribute to this aim.
Inter legend and captain Javier Zanetti, is set to visit Malta by the end of next week.
According to Inter Club Malta officials, Zanetti’s visit will take place between the 6th and 7th October. The visit is coordinated by the same club, with more details expected to be announced shortly.
In comments given to MaltaToday, Club President John Zammit said two events will be held. On the evening of 6th October, an activity open to the public will take place with the venue still to be confirmed.
Zanetti will then visit the Inter club premises on Monday 7th, where he will be signing autographs. The Monday event will be open only to club members.

Javier Zanetti joined Inter in 1995 and throughout this period won a total of sixteen trophies, fifteen of which under his captaincy. He is currently recovering from a severe injury.
With his 834 official matches for the club, he tops Inter's all-time appearances list.
He commemorated his 700th match in the best style, winning the 2010 champions league final against Bayern Munich and achieving a historic treble.
