Inter coach Benitez expects to stay at Inter for many years
Contrary to what Mourinho used to say, Rafael Benitez would like to remain at Inter for many years.
Inter coach Rafael Benitez claims he expects to remain with his new club for many years because that would suggest he is winning trophies and doing a good job.
The former Liverpool and Valencia boss was brought in to replace now Real Madrid tactician Jose Mourinho this summer and is aiming for immediate success, even though he knows it will be a difficult task.
"I expect to stay here for many years, because it means we would be winning," he said during a interview on the Inter Channel.
"I think that to win, for the players, is it is better to talk with them. If you do it with a smile than it's even better."
Meanwhile, he spoke about youngster Coutinho in training and is impressed with what he has seen thus far ahead of the side's North American tour.
"He has done very well in our workouts. He is young, but important for us. We are very happy with him, he is the player who has impressed me the most," he concluded.
