VIDEO: The most "unfriendly" friendly of the summer.

The friendly between Italian side Cagliari and France's Bastia was called off  last night due to incessant fighting between the two sides.

Cagliari were 3-0 up when the officials called a halt to the match with 15 minutes to go.

The massive fight started after after some poor tackles in the middle of the pitch and then all hell broke loose.

Subsequent reports have pointed the finger at Cagliari's Argentinean striker Joaquin Larrivey as being the main player responsible.

There have also been suggestions that some spectators attempted to get on the field to join in the mass brawl.
