Berlusconi 'to sell Balotelli'
According to reports from Italy, Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has put Mario Balotelli on the market after a furious outburst.
The Genoa-based paper Secolo XIX ran the story on Saturday morning, suggesting Berlusconi confided in members of his entourage that he had run out of patience.
“I’ve had enough and the decision is made. Mario is officially on the market and we need to sell him before the end of January,” Berlusconi allegedly said.
The patron had problems with SuperMario in the past, famously describing him as a “rotten apple” before the transfer from Manchester City was completed.
However, it is extremely unlikely the Rossoneri would sell their best player and top scorer, particularly as they are still in the Champions League and will face Atletico Madrid in February.
