Moratti to meet Manchester City officials on Monday

Inter President Massimo Moratti insists that he has yet to reach an agreement to sell Mario Balotelli to Manchester City. Robinho could be part of deal.

However, he did also admit that the player's transfer is now only a matter of time.

Earlier this week, Moratti said that despite Balotelli's talent, the club will be making sacrifices so that Inter complies with UEFA's financial fair-play rules, which will eventually come into effect in 2014.

Speaking to Sky Italia, Moratti said: “We are missing an agreement with City.

“We'll talk again on Monday. When we negotiate, things must go well for everyone.”

La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Inter's demands were the stumbling block. It is claimed a €30 million deal - rising to €35 million with bonuses is the deal that is on the table at the moment.

According to Tuttosport City are ready to offer Robinho on a loan agreement as part of the transfer so they can meet Inter in between the €26m offer and €30m demand.

They hope that incentive will bridge the gap and entice Inter into accepting a deal. The Nerazzurri want cash, but having the Brazilian is appealing in Milan.

Robinho's arrival would not affect the club's non-EU quota and he could be a key addition to Rafael Benitez's squad.
