Maicon agrees terms with Real

The Brazil international was said to be frustrated at Real Madrid's unwillingness to offer him a contract worth €7m a year and his agent Antonio Caliendo even went so far as to say Real Madrid were 'playing dirty'.

AS are reporting that Maicon has accepted a deal that will see him earn €5.5m a year in Spain.

Real Madrid must now finalise their negotiations with Inter who believe Maicon commands a €28m fee.

Inter are keen to make sacrifices in anticipation of UEFA's financial fair-play regulations.
