Sliema leave it late to defeat Vittoriosa

With some great saves and a goal by Sliema’s Obinna Obiefule being disallowed, the first have remained goalless.

Sliema managed to take the lead on the 77^th minute. Obinna Obiefule this time could not be denied when his diagonal shot beat goalkeeper Jean Vella.

On the 86^th minute, Sliema put the match out of reach for Vittoriosa when goalkeeper Jean Vella failed to hold the ball off a cross. Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza was there to pick up the rebound and make no mistake with his rising shot.
