Mqabba return to form

Mqabba returned to winning ways after they defeated Qormi 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

With this victory, Mqabba move up to fifth place in the BOV Premier League standings. Birkirkara and Qormi share the same place with Mqabba in the standings.

Mqabba came close to scoring on the 38th minute. Claudio Calleja served Bojan Mamic but shot hit the crossbar.

On the 53rd minute, Mqabba managed to take the lead. Rene Duca served Bojan Mamic who then went on to beat goalkeeper Matthew Farrugia with his shot.

Mqabba continued to dominate the match till the end with numerous chances on goal.

Marlon Briffa was voted BOV Player of the Match.
