Malta drawn with Italy for Euro 2016 qualifiers

Malta will be facing Italy in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, after the two countries were both drawn in Group H.

Having already come face-to-face with the Italians during the World Cup 2014 qualifying stage -and losing both its home and away fixtures to their Italian counterparts - Malta will also play Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Norway and Croatia.

Meanwhile, Roy Hodgson's England will battle it out in Group E alongside Switzerland, Slovenia, San Marino, Lithuania and Estonia.

Germany, sure to be one of the favourites for the tournament, were drawn in Group D with Gibraltar, Georgia, Poland, the Republic of Ireland and Scotland.

Current European champions and World Cup holders, Spain will be fairly confident of reaching the tournament finals after being drawn with Luxembourg, Macedonia, Belarus, Slovakia and Ukraine.
