Roma defeat Sampdoria to keep title hopes alive
Roma kept up the pressure on Serie A leaders Juventus with a 3-0 win over Sampdoria at an empty Stadio Olimpico.
Both the north and south ends of the stadium were closed after Roma's fans were charged with singing anti-Neapolitan songs during a Coppa Italia song against Napoli.
Those that did attend saw a masterful Roma performance decided by three goals in 11 minutes either side of half-time.
Mattia Destro scored twice - the second an emphatic finish into the roof of the net - with Miralem Pjanic also getting on the scoresheet.
