Buttigieg and Camilleri name final squads for friendlies

National coach John Buttigieg and Under-21 coach Edwin Camilleri announced the squads that will take part in the friendly matches this Tuesday.

The 18 senior team players that were selected to take part in the friendly match against Macedonia on Tuesday by coach John Buttigieg are as follows:

Goalkeepers: Andrew Hogg and Mario Muscat

Defenders: Andrei Agius, Shaun Bajada, Jonathan Caruana, Edward Herrera and Carlo Mamo

Midfielders: Roderick Briffa, Clayton Failla, Paul Fenech, Ryan Fenech, Massimo Grima, Jamie Pace, Kevin Sammut and Gareth Sciberras

Forwards: Daniel Bogdanovic, Andrew Cohen and Michael Mifsud

The players selected for the Under-21 squad that will play against Wales are as follows:

Goalkeepers: Henry Bonello and Nicky Vella

Defenders: Steve Bonnicic, Steve Borg, Owen Bugeja, Ryan Camilleri,  Tyrone Farrugia, Beppe Muscat, Duncan Pisani, Clive Spiteri and Joseph Zerafa

Midfielders: Richard Chetcuti, John Mintoff, Nigel Rizzo and Mark Scerri

Forwards: Miguel Ciantar, Mauro Grioli and Terence Vella.

Entrance for the Under 21 friendly match at Ta' Qali National Stadium will be free whilst the price for the senior side's match against FYR Macedonia will be €8.

The Under-21 game Malta vs Wales will be played on Tuesday, kick-off at 19:00 while the match Malta vs FYR Macedonia will be played on Wednesday, kick-off at 20:00.
