Mourinho: We will try to win
Jose Mourinho says his Chelsea side will go to the Etihad Stadium on Monday in search of victory against Manchester City.
City have a 100 per cent home record in the Premier Leaguer this season, winning all 11 of their matches and scoring 42 goals in the process.
And Mourinho, whose side have only managed draws away at Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal this season, insists his side are under no pressure ahead of the game against Manuel Pellegrini's team.
"We are going to try to win knowing perfectly we can lose or draw. Our intention is to try to win," he said.
"City score goals. Normally, when your approach is very defensive, if you concede a goal you are in trouble.
"Or you have to make changes during the game and you never know how the players adapt to it."
Manchester City have scored at will this season with four players already in double figures.
The club's top goalscorer Sergio Aguero misses the game against Chelsea with a hamstring injury but Mourinho insists City have more than enough striking options at their disposal.
"He's a fantastic player, but he's one of so many," Mourinho said.
"Even the fourth striker (Stevan Jovetic), coming off the bench, comes on and scores (in Wednesday's 5-1 win at Tottenham).
"For the last months Sergio was injured and the third striker, (Edin) Dzeko, was making the difference and scoring a lot of goals.
"So for them it's not important if somebody is injured."
