Malta camp a hit

LAST week saw the start of the first ever Rangers Soccer School in Malta with over 70 kids taking part from the host club Luxol Sports Club.

Gregg Statt, Rangers' Overseas Development Officer was in Malta for the course and to discuss forging a strong link with hosts Luxol.

He said: "Over the past thee years various teams from Luxol have attended our Rangers International Tournament and we have built up a good relationship with their coaches and staff.

"We were over last week to host the first ever camp in Malta but while we were there I met with their chairman to discuss creating a more formal link between Luxol and Rangers Soccer Schools.

The Malta camp follows on from a similarly successful setup in Rome last month and Rangers Schools can now look forward to camps in Bermuda, Tasmania and New Zealand in April and May.
