Real Madrid fans pay last respects to idol Di Stefano
Fans of European champions Real Madrid queued up to pay their last respects to former striker Alfredo Di Stefano, who died on Monday aged 88.
Long queues formed around the football club's Bernabeu stadium, where Di Stefano's coffin was on display.
The Argentine played for Real Madrid from 1953 to 1964 - helping them to win five European Cups. He coached the whites from 1982 to 1984, and was honorary president from 2000.
His death, after a heart attack suffered on Saturday, was front-page news in every Spanish paper Tuesday.
La Razon called him "The Greatest Ever", El Mundo labelled him "The Man Who Changed Football" and El Pais called him "The Genius of Football."
