Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti has car stolen at gunpoint
Inter legend and new vice-president Javier Zanetti was reportedly carjacked in Argentina at gunpoint last night.
The 40-year-old, who retired from playing this summer to join the club staff, was on vacation in the Banfield area.
Diario Popular claims Zanetti was driving with his father in a 4x4 when they were accosted by men who pointed a gun to his head and threatended to kill him.
Made to leave the vehicle, Zanetti and his father were unhurt, but it’s reported the carjackers were tracked down and arrested soon after.
