[WATCH] National anthem replaced by Linkin Park song at Malta-Slovakia friendly

A DJ's error made players ahead of yesterday's friendly match between Malta and Slovakia chuckle, when Linkin Park's 'Numb' played instead of the Maltese national anthem.

After entering the field, the sides lined up at the Zilina stadium and prepared for the respective national anthems - or so they thought.

The error was noted just after the intro to the song and was quickly rectified, though players noticed and saw the humour in the situation.

Malta went on to suffer a 1-0 defeat, making the song - with the lines 'in the end, it doesn't even matter' - quite apt.
