Zebbug could not better their fortunes after coming back from two consecutive draws.

Hibernians took the lead in the seventh minute when, off a pass from Edison Luis dos Santos, Andrew Cohen managed to find the back of the net to give Hibernians the lead.

Hibernians continued to dominate the match in the second half and in the 51st minute they doubled their lead. Marcelo Dias exchanged the ball with Edison Luis dos Santos with the latter passing to Clayton Failla who then went on to beat goalkeeper Fabricio Rapchan dos Santos Morales with his shot.

Edison Luis dos Santos created another scoring opportunity in the 68th minute when this time he served the ball to Marcelo Dias who rose to the occasion to make the score 3-0.

Hibernians made sure they collected all three points when they scored their fourth goal just three minutes later. Finally it was Edison Luis dos Santos who found the back of the net after receiving a pass from Clayton Failla to make the final score 4-0.
