Ivan Cordoba back in Malta

Ex Colombia International and former Inter defender Ivan Cordoba will be traveling to our Islands to attend a two day event organised by Mqabba Football Club , Mqabba Nursery, Liceo Bike Marathon, Technoline and Inter Club Pupi Zanetti Malta, on 14-15 March.

The event will consist of a one day Football Tournament for players under the age of 12.  Nurseries taking part in the event include Siggiewi, Tarxien, Ghaxaq and Mqabba being the hosts where along with the collaboration of the Justin Haber Football Academy, the main target of the event will be to collect funds in aid of the Maratona tar-Roti and Italia por Colombia; a foundation which was founded by Cordoba.

Additionally it is also hoped that through the organisation of the Maratona tar-Roti event, schools and nurseries are provided with trained personell to make use of provided defribillators when needed.

Another former Inter player; Felice Natalino, will also be visiting our shores on the 13th of March in support of the event.  Natalino who is an Inter Milan product having played with the Primavera team and having also featured in the senior team, was forced to call it quits from the game due to health issues.

Inter Club Pupi Zanetti Malta will also be organising a training camp and a Gala dinner with Ivan Cordoba on Sunday 15 March.
