The Malta Football Association has released a statement declaring the suspension of former Nadur Youngsters secretary Anthony Portelli and Xewkija Tigers player Paul Buttigieg from all football related activities with immediate effect until further investigations into alleged corruption take place.
The alleged allegations involving match fixing revolve around the two clubs mentioned during a game between the two sides which took place on February 7.
The MFA said it would be proposing to the council to declare George Sultana unwelcome from any Football related activities in light of the alleged accusations.
The association also said it would make no further comments until the case is concluded
