Liverpool FC have agreed a deal to sign Manchester City midfielder James Milner on a free transfer.
The Reds have agreed personal terms with Milner, 29, and he will now join the Anfield club when his contract with City expires on 1 July- subject to a medical.
Milner has won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup since signing for City from Aston Villa for £26 million in 2010. He also has 53 England caps to his name.
Last season, he played 24 times, scoring eight goals and making seven assists, as City finished second in the league behind Chelsea.
In total, Milner made 125 appearances for City and scored 18 goals.
Milner made his Premier League debut aged 16 in 2002 for his hometown club Leeds United. He joined Newcastle United in 2004, where he clocked up 94 appearances and six goals before joining Aston Villa in 2008.
