Valletta unbeaten run continues

It was not long before Valletta took the lead in the match. On the 18^th minute, Kevin Sammut received a pass from Roderick Briffa to beat Marsaxlokk’s goalkeeper Reuben Gauci to put Valletta ahead.

Valletta were in command of this match as they kept on pressing for the second goal. Roderick Briffa had a freekick just go wide and Jamie Pace had a powerful shot denied by Reuben Gauci.

The second goal arrived from Valletta on the 49^th minute when Denni Rocha Dos Santos served Dyson Falzon who shot a fantastic rising shot over the Marsaxlokk goalkeeper.

Marsaxlokk tried to get back in the match but their efforts were fruitless.

Marsaxlokk has more troubles when on the 82^nd minute, Julio Alcorse received a second Yellow card when he had a incident with Steve Borg.
