Hibernians and Qormi share the points

With this result, Qormi are in seventh place with eight points joining Sliema while the Hibernians are six matches without a win and are second last in the standings with only six points.

The first half was a quiet affair as both team did not have many chances on goal.

There was a bit more movement in the second half as Qormi’s Kosta Bjedov shot just inside the area was missed by the smallest margins. Hibernians Zoran Levnaic’s attempt was denied but Qormi’s defender.

Qormi pressed in the final minutes for the winner. Matthew Bartolo went close with a long distance shot and Abubakar Bello-Osagie’s header went wide after a corner kick from Joseph Farrugia.
