Pietà advance to the first round of the U*BET FA Trophy

Pietà Hotspurs strolled into the first round of the U*BET FA Trophy by defeating Msida St. Joseph 6-0.

Pietà will now meet Hibernians at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.

Pietà started attacking immediately and took the lead when Robson Luiz Bandeira beat Msida goalkeeper Jeremy Alden to make it 1-0.

It was not long afterwards when Pietà doubled the score. On the 14thminute Bandeira again found the back of the net when he took advantage of a error from the Msida goalkeeper.

Only a couple of minutes later Pieta kept marching on as Zach Muscat made 3-0 by getting a low shot in from the area.

A great freekick from Sheldon Grech hit the crossbar and ended up in the net to make it 4-0 in favour of Pietà.

In the second half it was the same story for Pietà as on the 57thminute Zach Muscat made it 5-0 when he received the ball off a freekick from team mate Sheldon Grech.

Robson Luiz Bandeira put the last nail in the coffin on the 79thminute when off a corner from Sheldon Grech, Bandeira had no problem heading the ball in.

It was game over for Msida as Pietà advances with a 6-0 victory.
