‘I am here to win and not to improve my Italian’ – Rafael Benitez

On the occasion of the Maestrelli Tournanment, one of Europe’s most illustrious youth competitions, Inter’s Rafael Benitez was awarded the European price.

At the event, Benitez had the opportunity to speak about his feelings on the defeat to Milan last Sunday before receiving his prize.

I am disappointed about the derby defeat, I can't deny that. We all know we must work and give more all together, from the first to the last in the Club".

"I am here at Inter to win - added the Inter manager, definitely not to improve my Italian. I feel the Chairman's faith in me, I spoke to Moratti after the game, I'm always working with him and with Marco Branca. Now I wait to collect my prize, which I have been awarded as Inter Manager (he smiles). Now we are all upset and angry for how things went, but I am sure we all have a great hunger to win".
