Croatia put three past Malta

Malta went down 3-0 against Croatia at the EURO 2012 qualifier at the Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb on Wednesday evening. This results puts Croatia at the top of Group F. 

Malta started the match with a lot of confidence as they tried for goal. However on the 18thminute Croatia took the lead when Niko Kranjcar beat Andrew Hogg with a shot from the edge of the area.

Croatia started to gain momentum when on the 42ndminute Eduardo passed to Niko Kranjcar who concluded to get his second goal of the match.

It was all Croatia again in the second half and the match was sealed when substitute Nikola Kalinic made it 3-0 on the 81stminute when he headed the ball past Andrew Hogg.

With this result Malta remain at the bottom of Group F without any points from four matches.
