Spurs comeback shocks Arsenal

Arsenal had the chance to go top in the Barclays Premier League, but Tottenham denied them that hope as they came back from two goals down to defeat Arsenal 3-2 for the first time in the Emirates Stadium.

Samir Nasri put Arsenal ahead on the ninth minute and Marouane Chamakh got the second for Arsenal on the 27th minute.

Arsenal seemed to have the match in the bag, but Gareth Bale pulled one bacl for Tottenham on the 50th minute. Rafael Van der Vaart converted a penalty to make it 2-2 on the 67th minute after his free-kick resulted in a handball from Cesc Fabregas.

Tottenham were back in the match now and started to attack Arsenal. Finally on the 85th minute, Younes Kaboul got the winner for Tottenham after heading the ball in the far corner off a free-kick from Van der Vaart.

This victory could not have come at a better time for Tottenham as they go into the Champions League match next week at the top of their group to play against Breman.
