Chelsea slip again as Manchester United are back on top

Lee Bowyer scored the winning goal of the match on the 17^th  minute. Chelsea did not sit back as they had numerous chances on goal, but the Birmingham’s keeper Foster produced some fantastic saves.

This defeat could be a sign of a mini-crisis for Chelsea as Ancelotti is surely feeling the pressure for letting Manchester United catch up to them in the standing after having such a good start to the season.

Manchester United defeated Wigan Athletic 2-0 to go level on points with Chelsea. A great header from Patrick Evra and another goal from Javier Hernandez gave Manchester the victory.

In other matches Tottenham Hotspurs made a fantastic comeback from two goals down to defeat Arsenal 3-2. This defeat prevented Arsenal from taking top stop in the Premier League.

Liverpool produced a fantastic display to defeat West Ham 3-0.

Bolton Wanderers crushed Newcastle United 5-1 and are now equal on points with big spending Manchester City.

Wolverhampton Wanderers remain at the bottom of the table after Blackpool edged them out 2-1.

And finally Stoke City defeated West Bromwich Albion 3-0.
