Mancini leaves Inter according to reports
Multiple reports on Sunday evening claimed that Roberto Mancini had already signed a contract termination with Inter, paving the way for Frank De Boer take over in Milan.
There had already been suggestions in the past week that the club was trying to work out a golden handshake deal with the Coach.
Late Sunday evening, multiple sources in Italy claimed Mancini had put pen to paper on the termination.
It ends his tenure, which began in November 2014, with under two weeks to go before the start of the Serie A season.
Horrible results in Inter's pre-season (A 6-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, 4-1 loss to Bayern Munich and defeats against CSKA Sofia and Paris Saint-Germain) increased tension between management and Mancini.
The takeover by Chinese group Suning also prompted debate between Mancini and club on how to progress on the transfer market.
It was also reported that Roberto Mancini was frustrated with the lack of experienced players in the team and he did not believe in the progect at the club.
Frank De Boer's name has been mentioned on a number of occasions in the Inter camp. His style of play and the way he includes young players in the squad is exactly what the management want at the club. De Boer will be signing a three year contract according to reports.
