Valletta and Birkirkara earn a point each

Cain Attard’s opener for Birkirkara was cancelled out by Jhonnattann as Valletta and Birkirkara shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw to earn a point each.

Birkirkara forged ahead on the 49th minute. Cain Attard fired a low shot that ended up past Henry Bonello.

Valletta managed to equalise on the 66th minute. From a free kick on the left side, Jhonnattann placed the ball inside the net.

Two minutes later, Birkirkara suffered a setback when Pedrag Jovic was sent off after receiving his second yellow card.

Jhonnattann almost won the game for Valletta on the 79th minute; however, his conclusion hit the post.
