Park sends United top

United left it late in the first half to notch the winning goal. On the 41^st  minute, United’s Nani had his cross deflected by Arsenal’s Gael Cliuchy to end up in the path of Park who headed over goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Arsenal had limited opportunities in front of the United goal as it was a match totally dominated by them.

Manchester United were awarded a penalty shot on the 74^th  minute when the ball was handled by Gael Clichy.

Wayne Rooney stood up to take the penalty shot, but it his attempt went over the bar.

The score remained 1-0 to move Manchester United at the top of the Barclays Premier League standings.
